Banire Debunks Rumour Of Accusing Saraki Of Bribing Oyegun With N4bn

The National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muiz Banire, has reacted to reports that he maligned the party’s National leader, John Oyegun and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
Banire was also reported to have described Oyegun as a mad man, who was out to destroy the APC before the end of his tenure.
Reacting to the report, Banire insisted that the story was false and a handiwork of mischief makers.
In a statement by his Media Office, the APC Legal Adviser said those who “concocted” the story were those behind claims that he was “plotting to politically oust” Bola Tinubu, a national leader of APC.
The statement reads, “The attention of Dr Muiz Adeyemi Banire,SAN has been drawn to yet another concocted lies manufactured from the propaganda factory of mischief makers alleging that he called National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun a ‘mad man’ and also claimed in the fake story circulating on the social media that he (Banire) said Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki bribed the party chairman and few other excos with whopping N4bn.
“This story is concocted bile from the stable of mischief makers who are mortally afraid of the political stature of Banire in Lagos and by extension Nigeria.
“Their wicked, false story is the latest in the series of well-oiled campaign of calumny they had embarked in recent weeks.
“These shameless characters, apostles of illegality and impunity were the ones behind false stories that trended fortnight ago that Banire was planning to politically oust his boss, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu out of relevance in Lagos politics.
“These same agents of destabilization were also behind fictitious stories alleging that the APC candidate in Ekiti Governorship election, Dr Kayode Fayemi lampooned the national leader and crediting malicious inflammatory statements to former Ekiti State Governor, Segun Oni just to achieve their failed satanic agenda.
“Dr. Banire, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria had reiterated many times that he is not a professional politician but a professional in politics stressing that he didn’t need politics to survive as his thriving legal practice comfortable pays his bills.
“The public, friends and associates of Dr Banire are advised to dismiss the lies from the camp of losers who are afraid of the nemesis of their humongous iniquities.
“Whilst they continue to clutch to straw, Dr Muiz Banire, SAN will remain committed to the deepening democratic ethos especially the entrenchment of the internal democracy in Nigeria’s party politics.”
